Our client is currently seeing a Warranty Coordinator, working under the supervision of the Warranty / Scheduling Manager is responsible for providing administrative support as required for both Vendor and Customer Warranty.  Position will be working cross-functionally with both internal ( Purchasing, Customer Operations, and Warehouse) and external costumers and is responsible for ensuring efficient and accurate processing of warranty.  Multitasking and prioritizing workflow are essential to success in this role.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Input customer and vendor warranty commitments based on data provided
  • Weekly systematic review of customer and vendor data assuring / correcting any discrepancies.
  • Customer and Vendor warranty reporting and documentation preparation ensuring data is understood and readily available for distribution.
  • Communicate warranty claim activities / status
  • Work cross-functionally gathering information to assure commits are correct and clearly communicated to respective areas of responsibility.
  • Efficiently and accurately process all incoming warranty requests / claims based on customer / vendor commitments.
  • Perform other job related duties as assigned to insure the success of projects, individuals, and the company.
  • Assist with the development, documentation, and implementation of departmental procedures and standards.

Qualifications:

  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, energetic, dependable, honest, and thorough.
  • Team player with outstanding writing, editing, data entry, and proofreading skills.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic workload from heavy multi-tasking during peak season to very focused detail oriented work during critical projects
  • Associates degree preferred.  3+ years’ experience in related field and proven performance in a similar environment may be acceptable in lieu of a degree.
  • Strong organizational, critical thinking, and communication skills.
  • Team attitude being eager to cooperate with others with exceptional interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to change direction and handle multiple responsibilities and tasks on a regular basis.
  • Ability to positively motivate individuals and teams to meet or exceed expectations.
  • Willing to put in extra effort and hours as needed.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
