The Systems Administrator will play a fundamental role in tailoring our systems to meet business requirements. This position will build virtual and physical servers and storage, setup logging, implement monitoring, and maintain these servers to facilitate employee efficiency.


  • Collaborate with the appropriate departments and customers to build systems that support organizational requirements
  • Maintain current server infrastructure
  • Provide recommendations and fixes to technical problems in a cost-effective manner
  • Ensures continuous delivery of technical services through oversight of Service Level Agreements with End Users and monitoring of systems, programs and equipment performance
  • Automation of tasks using a combination of scripting and configuration management systems
  • Troubleshoot and perform break-fix tasks on all systems as necessary including servers, appliances and systems
  • Act as technical lead on MIS projects
  • Maintain systems security
  • Maintain detailed records and prepare communication as needed
  • Ensure precise, consistent and timely communications with the users and leadership
  • Set, manage and meet goals and deadlines
  • Participate in corporate continuous improvement initiatives to enhance client services, efficiency and profitability
  • Participate in selected inter-departmental meetings, conferences, conference calls and planning
  • Document project status and completion on daily basis
  • Communicate effectively with clarity and transparency
  • Innovative critical and creative thinking to evaluate and solve issues
  • Perform other duties as assigned



  • BA Degree recommended or equivalent work experience
  • Must have a working knowledge of Microsoft server and storage solutions
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Visio
  • MCSE Preferred
  • Experience with server, storage, networking and virtualization systems
  • Experience with Citrix XEN Server and StarWind virtual san a plus
  • Excellent communication skills (strong verbal and written required)

  • Familiar with all Windows Operation Systems (Windows 7, 10, Server 2012/2016)
  • Familiar with server and workstation deployment
  • Experience with Linus is preferred
