Position: Business Analyst

Location: Austin, Texas (NO REMOTE OPTION)

Type: 6 month contract


Must haves:

-Process documentation in the SOP

-Hybrid Procedures and Compliance.

-Record Retention & Protocol

-Must be able to facilitate meetings and ask the right questions

- Business Analyst background a plus, heavy on systems

- Experience in configurations in Work Day and Building reports

- Attend meetings, ask probing questions, put pieces together to get project done


Travel: Possibility of a ONE time travel requirement @ beginning of September. Otherwise, no travel required. 

Soft skill: Attention to details. Critical Thinking, provide solution on the situation, compliance and system background will be perfect.

Role Objective:

The HRIS Business and Systems Analyst will be a member of a dynamic global HR Information Systems team. You will collaborate with cross functional HR teams to build and stabilize a record retention program.


Business Analyst Responsibilities:

* Meet with business stakeholders to review, document, analyze, and evaluate business requirements for record retention, record destruction and individual access to data to comply with GDPR

* Manage all cases that are reported via CMT tool for requests for data access or data purges.

* Work with HR resources to develop strategy to identify Workday records and associated documents for record retention, record destruction and individual access to data per GDPR regulation and business needs.

* Develop a protocol for investigating, tracking, authorizing, communicating, and actioning retention/data requests.

* Participate in all aspects of testing including development of test strategy documentation, write test scripts, coordinate testing resources, compile test completion metrics, and test script execution Systems Analyst Responsibilities:

* Develop systematic procedure to identify and purge/archive worker/applicant records and associated documentation based on strategy

* Hands on Workday reporting to identify records for destruction.

* Liaise effectively with stakeholder groups across several business units including HRIS, HR Services, Talent Acquisition, Compensation, Benefits, HR Business Partners, Privacy, Finance, Payroll and IT.


General Responsibilities:

* Deliver on assigned tasks in all project phases

* Coordinate meetings for team as needed (including internal, consultants, vendors)

* Identify and invite additional stakeholders to provide input as needed

* Communicate with other project leads to ensure appropriate links with other work streams

* Attend meetings and provide verbal and written status updates

* Immediately escalate issues, risks, questions and concerns

* Fully document all project materials including business requirements, business processes, decision logs, action items, testing, documentation and communications.


Role Requirements:

* Bachelors Degree in Business, Information Systems, or related discipline preferred.

* Strong Workday configuration and implementation experience.

* Strong project mgmt. skills to manage meetings, prepare and/or edit meeting minutes and deliverables, meeting agendas etc.

* Familiar with creating presentations, status reports, process and procedures, flow charts, and tables.

* Strong skills in Microsoft Office tools including; Powerpoint, Excel, Word.

* Must thrive in a fast-paced environment where multi-tasking and prioritizing is necessary.

* Demonstrated ability to strike a good balance shifting between big picture planning and detailed level execution tracking.

* Must be a self-starter, team player, proactive with excellent verbal and written communication skills.

* Must exhibit strong security and confidentiality practices.
