Workday HRIS Administrator

Exton, PA


Shift: 9:00am – 5:00pm

Contract: 6-7 months



Workday HRIS Administrator will support the HRIS team to provide system support, guidance, and administration. This systems expert will be established as Workday super-user providing day-to-day user support and troubleshooting of system issues in production.



  • Strong knowledge of HCM foundation, business processes, reports and security in Workday
  • The incumbent will be extremely knowledgeable about Workday Business Processes, as well as in determining and communicating best practices in entering and maintaining systems data. May be asked to assist users of the Workday system in resolving issues involving business process steps.
  • Experience with mass data load process; prepare and populate mass load templates and load and validate data in Workday
  • Assist with testing of various change requests and provide Tier 2 troubleshooting support for Workday issues, including coordinating with vendors and internal teams.
  • Demonstrating ability to troubleshoot the deep details of an issue and resolve them from end to end. These fixes may include short-term workarounds, but will always focus on long term and comprehensive solutions to problems.
  • Ensure activities are delivered on time and with quality
  • Escalate issues/risks pro-actively to appropriate team and members and management
  • Regularly communicate status and challenges to team members and management


Education and Experience Requirements

  • 3+ years of progressively increasing responsible experience with data, platform, and HRIS management
  • Experience with Workday HCM required - Data, Core HR, Payroll, Compensation, and Recruit and Security
  • Experience managing cross functional global projects and/or teams
  • Project management experience required
